New theme, new blog…
This blog has been my longest running one. I started it in New Zealand, probably on Blogger. I moved it to AskandImagine.com when I launched that website, until we decided to turn that into our web design and hosting business. It was actually on AskandImagine.ca before I snapped up the dot com.
Then I moved it to a subdomain of RevTrev.com and started to post random “God Thoughts”. Then I got an iPhone and found it so easy to update when I was waiting to meet someone, or as I waited to pick up the kids from school.
Then came Twitter…. and typing 140 characters became so much easier than trying to craft a full blog posting… and 800+ followers later I’m addicted.
I’m meeting so many cool people. I’m praying with people and we’re seeing miracles. Almost every day I get a business connection for ImaginePublishing.com or a ministry connection for Expectancy Ministries I even found a cool template creator for Word Press themes I can’t wait to try out for a client. ThemesPress.com
So with all my time on twitter counting as both ministry and business marketing, I soon came to the conclusion I need to simplify my life. So we’re selling ImagineWriters.com and putting our plans on hold for ImagineDistribution.com - now there’s a rant I may just keep to myself. We may sell off ImagineSyndication.com, ImagineFriends.com and ImagineFriends.info along with a dozen more sites I can’t even remember without my cheat sheet. This is to give me time to develop MiracleNewsToday.com, EncouragingEmails.com and LifeAbovetheNegativity.com as well as writing regularly at DrinkFromtheDeep.com AND… here’s the rub… using this blog as a rant refuge — you know, a place to talk about my many thoughts in a way that doesn’t seem as sad as the multiple mind maps attached to my magnet board.
And I think this new theme from Laptop Geek captures not only my own desktop, but also my too-cool gmail theme.
So I don’t expect so much shameless self-promotion in most of my rants… and truthfully, most days I don’t have time to rant. I don’t make time to even write in my journal… which reminds me - too late, Dragon’s Den is on - time for Daddy - Daughter - Time.
