I used to think time was relative- a year when you’re 6 is 1/6th of your life; a year when you’re 60 is 1/60th of your life. It makes sense that time seems to speed up as we get older. I often hear seniors say “the hours go slow, the years go fast”.
But my kids are commenting how fast the hours, weeks, months and years are going, and I have to agree.
I’m wondering if it has sometime to do with the speed of light changing, or maybe there is some theological significance from Daniel. I’ll research theological angle and get back to you.
If anyone can confirm my thoughts about the speed of light, I’d appreciate you.
2012 is coming up you know, and the timeline for “88 Reasons Why Christ Must Return in 1988″ comes back into play, along with the end of the Mayan calendar… Man I’ve got to start writing fiction again
I’m printing off a manuscript for “How to Hope at the End of the Rope”. There are still a few significant gaps to close up in the draft, but I wanted to give it to Kaz to read and I know it’s easier for me to edit a hard copy as well. I don’t have the tray capacity for the number of pages so I’m waiting a while for more pages to be done…
Now I’m in discussions over the sale of ImaginePublishing.com and it seems fitting to include ImagineDistribution.com as well, so until that’s all decided there’s no real point to take on the work that might need to be undone. If the sale doesn’t materialize at this time, I’ll turn ImaginePublishing.com into a blog to help people with all the issues of publishing and self-publishing… I’m thinking about a series on why you should consider your own publishing house.
Anyway, it’s time to change the paper and time to run some errands. Thanks for listening.
Ever since I heard about this I wanted to see the video. What a great move to cut off the flak that our PM is stiff. I mean, sure he’s stiff, but his wife isn’t and rumour has it this is her doing. Can’t help thinking they both saw the political benefits of showing him as an actual person. It’s sad the mainstream media in Canada ignores what they can’t spin.
